professional development
We provide education on the impact of poor body image and the way this is amplified by the diet culture and wellness content our teens are consuming. Educators are taught about the importance of nutrition for energy, how to identify disordered eating in a young person and what language helps to foster a positive relationship with food and body.
-
parent education
Parents have a wonderful opportunity to foster a positive relationship with food and body in the home. They are taught about the importance of language when they talk about food and their body, and how they can gently encourage their teen to add more food to their diet without demonising their family favourites and how to pack more energy into their teens’ breaky and lunch box.

keynotes and conferences
Drawing from her own experience with disordered eating as a student and her knowledge as a Clinical Nutritionist (BHSc), Angelica shares how struggles with mental health and body image impact every part of a young person's life. Her keynote offers evidence-based, practical, and uplifting strategies for educators, parents, and health professionals to help teens build body appreciation and eat without shame, rules, or restriction.

"I really appreciated your insights, you’ve given me lots of “food for thought” (bad pun sorry!) on my own body insecurities. I think we are on the right track with our son & how he eats but definitely need to amend the language we use around body image. And you’re so right- we need to be kinder to ourselves."

“My daughter attends Siena collage and this week saw your presentation. She found your story so inspiring and relatable. She came away thinking differently about food and is excited to try out new recipes like overnight oats! I just wanted to say thank you and keep doing what you are doing”
