hi! I’m Gel,
a clinical nutritionist, body image educator, and the founder of This is Your Body. Let me show you how we help teens discover joy in nutrition, the fun in cooking and the light in self-compassion.
How we support teens
We have a vision to give every young person the opportunity to break free from toxic diet culture and unrealistic beauty standards by sprinkling joy into simple nutrition advice for teens so they can learn how to appreciate and value themselves just as they are.
school workshops
This is Your Body offers engaging, joyful and evidence-based presentations and workshops designed to educate teens about nutrition, body image, mental health, and wellbeing. Our presentations are full of stories, facts, activities and snacks (of course!!).

Gel provides a warm, brave, and confidential space for honest conversations with parents/carers about the role food and mealtimes play in your home. She works with teens struggling with their body image and relationship with food to feel more comfortable at meal times and in their body. She also provides nutrition support where required to ensure they’re getting the food, nutrients and energy their body requires.
